Using Biophilic Design principles, we create unique Biophilic, workspaces, and homes that nurture individuality and well-being.
“Working with your internal state to transform your Biophilic space - thus facilitating the improvement of your wellbeing.”
Why Is Biophilic Design Relevant Today?
The World Health Organization predicts stress-related illnesses will be the top contributors to disease. Urbanization reduces our connection to nature, which affects our mental and physical health. Incorporating nature elements into the built environment reduces stress, blood pressure, and improves well-being, productivity, and creativity.
Companies like Apple, Google, and Amazon invest in Biophilic Design to improve worker concentration, engagement, cognitive ability, and attract top talent.
How Do We Implement Biophilic Design ?
- Optimization and organisation of spaces with a human focus.
- Thermal comfort levels.
- Air quality, toxin levels and ventilation.
- Acoustic comfort.
- Improved natural and artificial lighting.
- Internal and external views onto nature.
- The use of natural materials textures, patterns and colours.
- The incorporation of recuperative spaces.
- Aesthetic environment with brand recognition.
- Psychological and physiological effects of the space.
